Review

Neurodimension has taken the highly complex subjects of neural nets and genetic algorithms and created a program that with a little bit of time and practice the average mortal can understand and use quite easily.

I am not going to go into the details of the software because it would take to much time to try and explain and you can get great information from the Neurodimension site.

Instead I want to give you my overall impressions of TradingSolutions based on my experience writing and testing software over the last 30 years.

I spent quite a bit of time playing with TradingSolutions and was thoroughly impressed with the attention to detail in this program. I remember commenting to my wife that this was one of the most integrated and well thought out trading packages I had seen in a long time.

The main screen is so well integrated that I also commented that the designers really did a good job.

There are video help clips available throughout the program which I found to be very helpful and are just one more nice touch that makes this a very high quality program.

The program breaks tasks into chunks that run in a little scheduler that let's you stop and resume. I found that to be not only unusual as most packages must run their calculations to completion but handy if you want to turn your computer off and resume where you left off later.

The reporting capabilities were equally impressive with some nice statistical and graphical reports and the charts produced were easy to work with.

One of the things that make a favorable impression on me is the availability of the manuals or help files before purchasing and Neurodimension has them available on their site along with other aids so you know exactly what this software can do even if you don't download the demo version.

I already owned another NN/GA package so I did not buy TradingSolutions and that is the ONLY reason I didn't buy it because I think it is a super program.


Bottom Line

No question about it, if I didn't already own a neural net/genetic algorithm package I would have purchased TradingSolutions. If you are into the artificial intelligence aspect of trading you should download the demo and give it a try.
